VAILEAD helps contractors collect and manage homeowner project requests. This policy explains the information VAILEAD processes to provide that service.

Information homeowners provide

A contractor’s VAILEAD form may collect contact details, project ZIP code, project descriptions, answers about the property or requested work, scheduling preferences, photos, plans, and other files the homeowner chooses to submit. A homeowner who uses the research-only option can save a planning estimate on that device without sending contact information to the contractor.

Information contractors provide

VAILEAD may process company information, contact details, branding, service areas, team-member access, intake settings, pricing ranges, quotes, follow-up notes, and related account information.

How information is used

Information is used to operate the requested contractor workflow: receive and organize project requests, provide configured planning ranges, notify the contractor and homeowner, support follow-up and quotes, secure company accounts, and maintain the service.

Service providers

VAILEAD uses infrastructure and service providers to host the application, store data and files, authenticate contractor users, deliver email, and process billing when enabled. Providers include Cloudflare for hosting, database and file storage; Supabase for email-code login; and Resend for project and account email. Stripe processes billing events when enabled. If optional assisted summaries are configured, project descriptions, answers, ZIP code, and file categories may be sent to OpenAI. Contact fields and uploaded file contents are not intentionally included in that summary request. Please avoid putting sensitive personal information in project descriptions.

Company separation

Contractor accounts are separated so a contractor’s leads, files, settings, and team access are not available to other contractor companies through the VAILEAD application.

Retention and deletion

Project and account information may be retained while needed to provide VAILEAD, maintain business records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Anyone can request access, correction, or deletion using the public contact form. We verify identity before sharing or removing information and explain any records that must be retained. Locally saved estimates expire after 30 days. We do not sell personal information or use advertising trackers.

Security

VAILEAD uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect account and project information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

VAILEAD is intended for adults arranging or providing home services and is not directed to children.

Changes

This policy may be updated as VAILEAD changes. The date above shows the latest revision.
